Future/Culture Magazine Editor-In-Chief TJL-2080 is also an artist, musician, photographer and filmmaker. To kick off our Art section, here are some of his fire fractal paintings done through computer programs with a painter's touch.
"Many people make very intricate fractals," TJL-2080 said. "While they are a technical accomplishment, they seem to me almost too polished. They have repeating shapes and psychedelic colors and so forth. Mine seem a little rougher, on purpose. They are explosions, pure creativity as man and machine merge in a moment of creation. They are my 'Big Bangs' if you will."
The artist using the computer as a tool for expression. That is pretty much how we envision the art of Future/Culture. Here are a selection of TJL-2080's fractals.
